What is Movescan?
Movescan is a new consolidated shipment platform intended for all companies operating in the field of removals. Those participating can indicate their moves (national or international) for which they still have available volume. As a result, members can identify other members and make use of their available volumes to reduce unnecessary movements, as part of a mutually beneficial process!

Who is Movescan aimed at?
Our service is intended for all companies participating in the field of removals. However, private individuals may also be interested in certain moves indicated by members and may wish to use Movescan to obtain the contact details for these companies.

What is a move?
A move is a transport connection that a member (usually a removals company) advertises by indicating the town and country of departure, the destination, the week in question as well as the available volume.

What are the advantages of using Movescan?
Movescan offers a genuine management tool to facilitate your company's logistics operations, to allow you to make real cost savings (reduction in your transport costs) and to help you to make an active contribution towards the reduction in CO2 and noxious gas emissions to benefit our planet's environment.

Why should I become a member?
As a non-member visitor, you can view the moves entered by members and locate the moves that interest you. However, to find out the identity of members who have entered a move, subscription and identification as a member is required. Moreover, only members will be able to add their own moves.

Is it free?
Yes. Whether you wish to use Movescan as a non-member visitor or subscribe to use the features reserved for members, the site is completely free of charge.

I don't have an e-mail address. Can I still use Movescan?
If you don't have an e-mail address you can still log on to the Web site as a non-member visitor and access the move list. However, to become a member and to take full advantage of the Movescan features, you must have access to a working e-mail address as your personal login code (password) will be sent to you by e-mail.

I have lost or can't remember my password... What shall I do?
Access the password regeneration page and enter the e-mail address you indicated upon subscription. A new password will be generated and sent to the e-mail address indicated. For security reasons, we cannot access your password or send it to you by any means. As a result, if you have lost your password, the only solution is to regenerate one. Even if you find your old password at a later date, it will no longer be valid.

I can't remember the e-mail address I indicated upon subscription. What shall I do?
It should be a valid and functional e-mail address that you use on a regular basis, since your login code was sent to this e-mail address upon subscription. If you don't know which address you indicated, go to the password regeneration page and try entering the addresses that you use, in turn. When you have entered the address that you indicated upon subscription, a new password will be generated and sent to the e-mail address in question. Please note that the old password will no longer be valid.

My e-mail address (ID) has changed or is no longer valid. What shall I do?
If your e-mail address is no longer in use (if you no longer have access to your electronic mail inbox for this address), you can still use it as an ID to connect to your member area. However, to allow Movescan to continue to contact you, please indicate your new e-mail address in the personal details modification area ("my profile"). A new password will then be generated and sent to the new e-mail address indicated.

As a member, will I be obliged to enter moves?
No, subscribing to become a member does not mean that you will be obliged to advertise your moves. If you wish, you can limit your access to simply finding out the identities of members who have advertised their moves. Having said this, it goes without saying that you will get even more out of Movescan by advertising your own moves!

What will my personal details be used for? How will they be handled?
We handle the personal information that you indicate upon subscription with the utmost confidentiality. This information will be disclosed solely to members who are interested in the moves that you publish on the site. In all circumstances, we undertake not to disclose these details to third parties. We may use your e-mail address to send you information or new features relating to Movescan.

Who set up Movescan?
Movescan is the original idea of a young entrepreneur at the helm of a Swiss company participating in the field of removals. Convinced of the significant advantages that such a service would provide for companies like his own, he decided to put his idea in to practice using the technological support of an IT company.
